Day and night brightness

Task: Change the brightness level relative to the time. From 6:00 to 19:00, the brightness level is 100%. From 19:00 to 6:00, the brightness level is 20%.

This functionality is applicable for dimming modules (SE Dim2o, SE RGBW and SE 5i4o 0-10v).

Example: Corridor lighting.

Connection

In this example, 2 groups of light (Gr.1 and Gr.2) are connected to the SE Dim2o module and a single-color LED strip (Gr.3) to the SE RGBW module.

You can implement this task using the task scheduler.

Task Scheduler is a cloud-based functionality that allows you to manage devices depending on the time and day of the week.

Setting

To configure it, you must specify the days of the week and the time from which the brightness of these light groups will change.

In the first step, we set the brightness of the channels to 100% at 6:00. Please note that the action "Set brightness inside the module" is selected.

In the "Night Brightness" action, we set the brightness to 20% on all channels.

Conclusion

By implementing this feature, you can adjust the brightness of the included groups relative to the current time without your participation. If the light group is on and it is time for the change, the channel brightness will change to what is specified in the scheduler.
