Window drive control (ventilator)

If everyone has long been accustomed to curtains and roller shutters with electric drives, then the ventilation drive for windows in home automation is still an outlandish thing. They are often placed on windows that are difficult to access, for example, high on the wall or even on the ceiling.

Of course, you can connect them to the AlphaSE system and then control them using the Yandex voice assistant. In this article, we will consider the principle of operation, connection diagram and configuration of low-current drives for 12-24 volts.

A low-current drive is an assembly of a DC electric motor, end caps, and a mechanical part. A two-core wire is used for connection and control. While the current flows in one direction, the drive opens the window, and closes it when the polarity is reversed.

Due to the fact that there are more and more questions about connecting such devices to our technical support, we are publishing diagrams and videos.

This is the general connection diagram of the window drive.

Pressing the button connected to the Open 1 input will close the Open1 output relay and current will flow through the motor in one direction, opening the window.

When the button connected to the input Close1 is pressed, the relay opens.1 the output relay Open and close.2. The current will flow in the other direction, closing the window.

Due to the fact that by default the SE Curtain modules are configured to control the curtain drives via dry contacts, the SE Curtain module relays when opening/The closures will be closed for only 2 seconds. This time will certainly not be enough. To work correctly, you will need to change one module setting through your personal account on the website. alice.smart-elec.ru .
