The ability to control a single lighting group from two locations is now implemented in almost all projects. Let's consider the cable routing and connection diagram to the SE 6i5o Light lighting control module. The figure shows a wall with installed switches SA1 and SA2. Both switches should control lighting group LA1.
Cables to switches are recommended to be routed along low-current cable trays at a distance of at least 10 cm from power cables. No junction boxes for these cables are installed on the ceiling. Essentially, the switch back boxes serve as the junction boxes.
In our diagram, it is shown that the first cable labeled Ш1 runs from the automation panel to switch SA1. Another cable labeled Ш1.1 is routed from switch SA1 to SA2.
In all KSPVG cables, we recommend using the blue conductor as the common wire (GND), and conductors of other colors for controlling individual groups. Thus, one KSPVG 8x0.22 cable can be used to control 7 different lighting groups. If there is a need to control 3 lighting groups, 4 conductors are sufficient.
The connection diagram shows the interconnection of the wiring loops. To connect two-way (pass-through) switches, it is sufficient to connect the switches in parallel to the input of the SE6i5o Light module. This way, when a switch at any of the locations is pressed, group 1 will turn on/off.
